Thank you for joining me on this journey of discovering the language of needle and thread.
I am a self taught surface hand embroiderer. Over the past decade, my work has been featured in both print and web publications. I have worked with non-profits and individuals to create embroidered work for fundraisers and family heirlooms.
I spent a recent year studying surface hand embroidery with Lucy Barter, RSN Graduate and co-founder of San Francisco School of Needlework & Design with 7 other embroiderers from around the US. It was a transformative experience to learn with internationally known embroidery professionals.
The vast world of needlecrafts brings me endless curiosity. I would love to share this learning with you through workshops or the purchase of a unique hand stitched piece.
